Looking for comfort food? Look no further. This is a super easy dish that also makes excellent left overs.
- macaroni noodles
- 1 jar alfredo sauce (I like a roasted garlic one)
- dash of milk
- 2 cups grated cheese (a mix of cheddar and mozarella is good)
- garlic salt
- pepper to taste
Boil the macaroni until al dente and drain. Put the cooked macaroni into a large Pyrex dish and stir in the alfredo sauce. I like to put a splash of milk in the alfredo sauce jar, shake it up (with the lid on, of course) and then pour that onto the macaroni. I find this makes the macaroni more saucy, and it uses up any of the sauce stuck to the jar. Add the garlic salt and pepper, and top with cheese. Bake for about 10-15 minutes in the oven on 350F/180C. If you like the cheese topping to be crisp, then near the end, put it under the grill for a few minutes.
Easy as that.
